Has anyone bought this yet, if so, what do they think, I have 2010 but its no way near 5m

I'd give it a miss , general screens are shown from a distance , not showing of large urban areas or towns and those that let you down .

I know we've talked about this before here, I just can't find the thread -- from memory, some members were a bit confused by the use of real photos on their website:)

I've bought a previous FS Global mesh, but I returned it and complained that they don't really give any details of mesh resolution, and NZ turned out to be a 76m SRTM mesh, which was no different from the default FSX mesh.

This new version says between 5 and 76 metres, so I wouldn't be surprised if NZ was still 76 metres, but there's no way of knowing from their website.

No doubt it's the curate's egg of mesh packages.

A LOD coverage map wouldve be nice, but looking around, a few people have said they have disabled orbx meshes and rather use this instead, so its promising

outside AU and NZ its very plain thats including fs global 2008, would be nice for some more detail, I guess I might have to take the plunge and bite the bullet
