NZCH and NZRT sceneries

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby connor » Sun Apr 10, 2011 5:55 pm

I have finally finished my FSX afcad for NZCH and NZGI (Garden City Helicopters). This rearranges the parking spots through out the airport, making ai aircraft park in the correct places with the correct orientation as well.

This scenery does require Troy Chapman's NZCH scenery available here. I have also built it on the Christchurch X photoreal scenery with updated autogen.

The AI traffic the Afcad is set up for is WOAI, however I will be interested to see how different traffic packages react to the gate coding. This has also been designed for GNZLAP and MIAW ai packages.

I intend to add some more scenery objects as time passes, and to use this as a stop gap measure untill Rob and co. finish there NZCH, which sound excellent!

There may be one or two errors in this package, so if your not familiar with scenery design, be cautious. It is designed for testing only at the moment. There is also an enclosed readme file for help if needed.

Here are some screenies to show it off a bit better.

If anyone is interested, PM me and I can send you the .bgl's in a reply PM.

I have also finished an Afcad and scenery for NZRT, Rangiora Airfield. It's only got default objects, but the parking has been rearranged and so have the runways. Everything is as close to real as I can get without custom scenery objects.
It is also built on Christchurch X photoreal scenery, however it may work without.
Same thing here, PM me for a copy. smile.gif

Thanks for looking and post what you think! winkyy.gif

I see you make mention of an updated autogen for chch. My Rangiora has trees all over the place. Where does this exist?

Cheers,
