Quick Question re: Red Baron Mesh + Topo

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby ScottyB » Tue Dec 07, 2010 4:51 pm

Hi guys,

As you may have read, I am finally going to buy some payware addons, starting with the Red Baron Mesh + Topo pack.

1) Do I have to uninstall the 75m mesh first for it to work? Or will it work better/same if I just leave it?

2) What are the pros/cons of getting the pack on a disk or download? (Because I want it now!!! tongue.gif)

Cheers,
Scotty

Hi Scotty I assume this is for FS9 if it is for FSX you would be much better spending $65 on the NZ VLC which includes a 20m Mesh however if it is FS9 get the Red Baron Mesh + Topo pack.
You can delete the 75m mesh from your FS9 Addon Scenery folder and by all means go for the download you can always burn it onto a CD for keeping.

When I go onto Sim Pilot Experience and go to but the combo there seems to be only one drop down option - and it's the CD opition. Anyone know where I can find the download option?

Hi Scott he just does it via CD as his server wont handle big files so it will be two to three days before you will receive it after ordering as it will come from Aus
