Another "how to scenery" question

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby Syncop8r » Wed Jul 14, 2010 1:21 pm

Which programs do the scenery designers amongst us use for FS9? I have downloaded a few programs like GMAX which I gather one would use for buildings and AFCAD 2 which I gather one would use for putting airports together.
Is this what you guys use?
What about photoreal - what program do you use for placing and editing it?
Is there something that puts everything all together?

I have been trawling places like FS Developer, lots of info on how to use the programs but I need an overview of what does what (and what is preferred).
I'm not looking at starting any particular project just yet but if something crops up I would like to know how to approach it.

Cheers
Mark

Mark , you can also use FSDS3.5 for model building or even the early versions , AFX for AFCAD placement in FSX but there are many freewares you could use . I currently out off the picture really most time spent doing the Autogen .
