I also noted somewhere that some are saying they had trees on the runway at ryans creek.
Well so do i even when the exclude file is placed and the only way to get rid of them i found was to reduce the autogen down to zero.
One question i have is although snowmans scenery is considered great i have to remove anything to do with fuel pumps from the bgl list to stop a dramatic loss of terrain and tree textures. This is probably because my computer is short on herbs being only 2 gigs cpu and 128 video card.
i have found fs2004 full of bugs and sometimes quite frustrating putting the numerous fixes scenery produces recommend or even require to get their work to work, even so having put thousands of hours into both fs2002 and fs2004 i am at knocking eighty refusing to try any other stuff microsoft bring out and take my hat off to those people who continue to provide scenery for us oldies.
A big THANK YOU

Hi there Cliff.
I was at NZHN when you departed for your great flight all those years ago,....... my father took me out there ( i was but a schoolboy then).
I also have your book "Flight of the Kiwi", which my father purchased for me in 1972, and its starting to look a little dog-eared from being read too many times
YSNF Norfolk Island,......... The AFCAD i built for the V2 scenery DOES have a 04/22 runway in it !! As does the original scenery i built several years ago.
I cant think of any expalanation as to why it doesnt show up in your sim................
NZRC Ryans Creek,.......... the very FIRST scenery i ever uploaded. It was built about 2 years before i uploaded it, and i didnt consider it very good, but better than what was ( or wasnt) there from Microsoft. The exclude problem i can fix for you................
I didnt have a BGL exclude creator in those days, and relied on the old fashioned CFG text entry method, but FS will only allow ONE exclude line in the cfg.
If you PM me with your e-mail addy, i will make a bgl file exclude for you, e-mail it to you, and all you have to do is drop it into Ryans Creek's "Scenery" folder.
The fix for the issue with the terrain textures and trees going all blurry is explained at the following link.............................
http://nzff.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6131It was caused by textures in a couple of Object Sets being saved in the wrong format by one author of the objects.
Thankfully he fixed the problem , as per the above link,...... with new texture sets in the correct format.
Regards,
Lawrie.
