AI for the States ?

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby Bazza » Mon May 12, 2008 11:03 am

The GNZLAP has made me aware how stark my airports are...

While I mostly "fly" NZ, sometimes I need a change and use Seattle/Tacoma for test flights etc (it loads quicker than my NZ stuff.)

I would like to add some WOAI stuff to these USA airports so am asking for advice on a couple of packages that would help fill them out with some of
the more common USA fleets. I would not be trying to "cover the field" but just install two or three biggies as eye candy and traffic. I mention
WOAI as I have used it for ANZ and QANTAS and think I have it sussed.

Advice appreciated.

Mate,

Just go to the World of AI websites and sort the packages by country, then download the USA files.

If you didn't want to get them all....I would say get, American, United, US Airways, Delta, Jetblue and Southwest.

Cheers
Florian

Thanks Cobber...that's what I needed to know - have no intentions of trying to do the lot, just a sample of the biggies.

If you're doing Seattle, you'll need Alaska, too. SEA is their home base.

Majors at SEA: Alaska/Horizon, American, UAL, Delta, Northwest (their Asia hub), Southwest, FedEx. US Air doesn't have much presence, nor Jetblue. For Internationals, go with: SAS (daily), China Airlines, and EVA. Don't recall if BA still has their daily to SEA any more (it was always late, anyway).
