Annoying default objects

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Does anyone know how to get rid of specific default objects like the power pole shown below?

I don't want to get rid of all power poles, just a few like this one. Normally I'd create an exclude file with FSSC but that doesn't help or I would create an exclude arguement in the scenery.cfg file and that doesn't work either.

I could just move the taxiway over in this instance but the wings of passing jets would still hit the pole. This would also put the default taxiway signs in the middle of the moved taxiway, which - of course - also can't be made to dissapear.

Has anyone had the same problem and found a fix?

Have you tried using the freeware program ExcBuilder V2?

Thanks for the suggestion. I downloaded and tried ExcBuilder V2 but it didn't solve the problem. This pole in particular only appeared after I installed the Sim Pilot Experience Roads and Rivers package.

yup I tried it too and flattex didnt do it either
the only way i could get rid of those was to use EZ scenery to place and "bury" an object in the same location using the elevation tool. The new object will prevent the old one from displaying . its payware but well worth it. only works with fs 9 right now though
btw the new object should be one that doesnt set off crash detect- fences or something similar should work
