Hi team,

Just downloaded the GNZLAP pack #3, good job!

I picked the included NZPN flight to do some AI spotting but could not see any airport:

After a little further searching I found this:

No runway or taxiways, just a big hole in the ground with a C206 and BN parked up.

They soon both took off and I followed them out over the Cook Straight, the C206 kept on dissapearing in and out of hillsides every now and then though

Any ideas on what I need to fix here?

Oh and one more thing, with the 3rd pack install, this is what the GA apron looks like for me at Welly:

Is it possible to remove the stock GA on the NZ routes, or by doing that, would it disable GA worldwide?

Cheers! >nzflag<

Google Earth looks the same: not much there.
See the readme for a flatten line that needs to go in your scenery.cfg file.

Picton has caused some headaches - most AFCADs there crash the sim.
This one is fun because the AI takes off apparently within 20m (it's the AFCAD ironing out the terrain) while you bump and jounce around along the goat track that passes for a runway.

The AI does fly through terrain if you let them take off to the south - adjust the wind to 300 or so, save the flight, and let them go the other way. It's a great flight to follow.
The stock GA AI file is
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\World\scenery\traffic030528.bgl"
Just rename it to
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\World\scenery\traffic030528.ORIGINAL"
and the stock planes will be gone.

Here's a quick video of "my" Picton experience.
I know it will not be to everyone's taste, but I quite enjoy the Back to Nature experience!

Edit: Of course, the RealNZ Marlboroughpackage fixes Picton, once and for all!
