It may be a useful exercise to devise some parking designations for the AI you're producing. Then our custom AFCADs can put the aircraft in the proper parking. To do this, each company (or other organisation) needs to have a standard parking code. This should include aero clubs etc.
Maybe someone has done this exercise before? At the moment I'm looking for codes to include at Wellington -- aero club, Vincent Aviation, Life Flight, Air National etc.

Howdy Robin,

Two NZWN parking codes off the top of my head:

Lifeflight: LFT
Sounds Air: SDA

GNZLAP21 used:
Sunair - SUF
Bay Flight Tauranga - BAV
We could have a go at a comprehensive list, any 3-letter nominations welcome.
It doesn't really matter what we use as the a/c will be tied to a NZ AFCAD, and there's very little chance of a foreign - registered sub-5 tonne plane getting confused about our local designations.
Jeff Trozzo put it rather eloquently:
YA THINK!.....Hey Ethel What say we fly to Christchurch for dinner tonight Ohhh George, you know the Skylane cant' make it there from San Diego
