There are now over 200 GNZLAP aircraft, and that's worthy of a little video clip all by itself.
But at the same time, GNZLAP packages have just crossed 3,000 downloads.
(I know this because I downloaded the 3,000th one myself! )
By Jenks' tortured reckoning, this translates to 136,892 aircraft downloaded to computers all over the world, and flying around in NZ cyberspace :o :o :o

Definitely worth a small video, then:

Thanks Matt, and it couldn't have happened without these forums.
I was amazed at the input from people all over, each just adding a bit, or a lot, or whatever.
The whole is waay bigger than the sum of the parts which makes it a really great project to be involved with.

Well, GNZLAP Pack 5.0 went past the 1,000 download mark in the last few days.
As I've said previously, this is extremely gratifying to see, as it is really a niche product in a niche market.
Incredibly, there were a few really determined attempts to scupper this project, by lodging spurious complaints at the upload sites.
This is not finally resolved, and I am working on a suitable follow-up to prevent crap like this in future.
The library managers turned out to be extremely helpful in the end, however, after a great deal of to-and-fro.
Unfortunately this all added to my decision to devote less time to the hobby, as I just have too many commitments at present.
Happily however, the GNZLAP users have shown almost 100% return business.
This is in itself great news, because it shows folks aren't entirely dissatisfied with the previous offerings.
Using Jenks' convoluted method of calculating these things, there are now over 160,000 light AI aircraft plying the virtual NZ skies!

i will not fly without GNZLAP, it is one of the best add ons around you could charge heaps, but i love the price of free (well almost except for some Cessna's) keep up the brilliant work
