What are AFCADs called in FSX and what software do you guys use to edit them? The old one I was using for FS9 isn't compatible with FSX from what I understand.

'AFCAD' was simply a name given to scenery files produced by the tool called AFCAD -- but they were just basic airport scenery files. I don't think there's an equivalent name for FSX, mainly because the tools available do a lot more than just add taxiways/parking etc. The best is Airport Design Editor, but some people prefer FSX Planner. Both require the SDK, though, so you'd need to own FSX Deluxe. If you don't have this, then I think the only tool which doesn't require the SDK is the payware Airport Facilitator X.

Thanks for that, now I guess I will just try each and find out which I like better.

Yeah FSX Planner does seem quite good, though I can't seem to get it to connect to FSX, don't seem to have any problem connecting to it through ADE though.
