Can someone head to the Viaduct harbour in FSX with their AI shipping turned right up and tell me if there are random ships everywhere? Im pretty sure they are default (since the default TrafficBoats.bgl has an end point there) but I've been messing around with AI ships again and just wanted to check that it wasn't something I had done smile.gif

Cheers

Check now for ya Tim .

I get four large , one tanker red hulled , two smaller bulk ships and a coastal container ship parked at various point of the compass and not heading into the wind as they should - leisure boats are limited , was this an area you were trying to fix .

Ok cool- That is default data which has a final waypoint there. Ships of type 'Cargo' and 'Oil' and Cruise simply get to their final spot and then just park close to it....close isn't good enough so now I need to tag all mine as Ferries which park precisely at their end spot smile.gif

I'll just make sure that the users turn off their default AI ships file.....or see if I can code it into the new VLC config tool smile.gif

One i switch off was Matts shipping file , WIP also - but it makes it busier around the coast line and i like it , it dose have some errors in it at the mo in the the way the shipping turns around in harbours and climb the coast . Maybe you could ask Matt for his files , he sorta lost interest , not sure .

Yeah there isn't any way around the ships turning in the harbour as far as I know....
