FSX Camera Views (FS Recorder)

A forum specifically to discuss the latest and greatest of all flight simulators

So I've got my sim set up nicely, and VLC is working great. The only thing I cant stand are the default FSX camera views.

I've downloaded FS Recorder for FSX. This is the freeware program I used to use in FS9, but updated for the new sim. It used to allow me to fix a camera at a certain position around the aircraft, then use my hat swtich on my joystick to pan up/down or side/side so the aircraft was off centre and I could get a good chunk of scenery into my screenshot.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to do that now though, I've followed the manual, but even when I input some variables into edit view window, nothing happens... Any ideas chaps?
