FSX Service Packs 1 & 2

A forum specifically to discuss the latest and greatest of all flight simulators

I have just discovered that I only have the FSX Service Pack(SP) 2 installed and I must have overlooked the requirement to have SP1 installed before SP2....

Should I remove SP2 and reinstall SP1 & 2 in the correct sequence.....or leave things as they are???.....I am pretty happy with my current set-up!!

Cheers,

Bob R

You are supposed to have SP1 first then add SP2 on afterwards. How certain are you that you do have SP2 properly loaded?
I guess if you are happy with your current setup and you aren't experiencing any problems, then it may be best to leave things alone and just continue to enjoy your FSX experience until such time (if ever) that a problem pops up that can be traced back to a lack of having SP1 installed?

Thank's for your comments....

The only reason I raised this query was that I recently had reason to check my OS Control Panel - ADD& REMOVE PROGRAMS....and discovered that the Microsoft FSX SP1 didn't appear on the list....only Microsoft FSX SP2!!

I think I will leave things as they are!!

Hi,

Just checked my setup as I know I have FSX SP1 installed just a few days ago...it does'nt show on the Add remove pro grammes list...just FSX itself....FYI.....Doesnt look like you have anything to worry about...

I agree with the suggestion to leave it as is if all is running ok...

Rgds
