Has anyone noticed that there WOAI AI are creating 3 times the normal traffic? I mean that every flight that is written duplicates? I have noticed this lately of FSX (after installing with the FSX box checked)

The easiest way to see if they are identical flights is with this FSX Google Earth Tracker

In Google earth you can see the AI and the rego's. There were 3 ZK-NGI's 3 ZK-PBB's 3 ZK-JNN's etc (might not be the right rego's but you get the idea)

Is this happening to anyone else? Do you know how to stop it. I decompiled the flight plans and the is only 1 block of flights per rego.

Thanks

Nick

Hi Nick
I have noticed that from NZWN the dispatch of the ANZ Link Beech 1900D to two or three different destinations all have the same rego number so on investigation I found that there is only one WOAI texture for the Beech 1900D.
Whether you could ad more textures to it with the different rego numbers and then find the flight plans and alter them to use the different textures for the different destinations I don't know maybe one of our program geeks on here may be able to shed more light on it.

Cannot speak for FSX (yet); still have to add AI. In FS9 this problem is negated by editing the atc_id= in the aircraft.cfg file.

Remove any registration number found there. AI will then revert to using the reg number listed in the flightplan instead.

I Have no reg number in the atc_id= but it does have atc_parking_codes=EAG in the aircraft.cfg and the one texture for the WOAI Beech 1900D has the reg ZK-EAK on the fuselage so all ANZ Link Beech 1900D aicraft that taxi out and there can be two or three taxing at the same time all with the same ZK- EAK reg on them that is the reason I suggested adding more textures with different rego numbers that are in the flightplan and adding them to the aircraft.cfg
I haven't tried doing this yet but when I get a bit of time I will see if it works.

This happens to be but only very occasionally and usually only after I've been fiddling with settings. If you shut down FS and start it up again, it'll fix itself. If it doesn't, you've got duplicates somewhere

I might just try out the FTX AI traffic instead

Highly recommend using FTX AI then fill in the missing AI with WOAI
