Hi there

Im fairly new to FSX, but have done a fair many hours flying in FS95 and FS98, anyway I have a couple of brilliant models of a Fletcher/Walter Fletcher (Thank you builders) and I have seen an article on the fletcher and it shows it flying onto and off of a real NZ topdressing strip. Are any availiable for FSX that anyone knows of ?

Thanks in advance

Welcome Cagorrie!

The upcoming Vector Land Class project will contain the correct land class definitions for all of the small rural airstrips however these are not proper airports as such (i.e. no windsocks, not flattened.....not being flat is part of the fun winkyy.gif)

Mike (creator2003) has made a couple of airstrips I think which use sloping runways. There are also a couple of airstrips which I included in my Mount Tarawera scenery.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply Mike, this may be a silly question, but where do I find your Mount Tarawera scenery ?
Thanks again

Roads and Rivers of New Zealand also contains over 3000 airstrips - it's pretty similar to what you get in Timmo's scenery, except you can buy it right now if you can't wait. I know a few people who are having fun with Roads and Rivers trying to find all the airstrips - in fact for some people the airstrips were the main reason to buy the scenery.

I've been enjoying all the beautiful rivers in R&R ... didn't realise it had added all those strips! I did see a few I think, but put it down to some pretty aggressive lawnmowing by the locals laugh.gif

I have 2 PDF files one of North and one of South Island with all the airstrips that are in the Roads and Rivers of New Zealand.
I have them in a zip file if anyone wants them message me with your email address and I will email it to you.
