Hi again chaps -sorry for the constant questions - brain fade!

I am looking a a cheap set of CH pedals - only thing is they are serial connections not USB ... my question is, are there adapters that could make them fit into a usb slot?
They seem to be a good deal (although older) but id this works i would get them ... i only want the pedals as have everything else now except throttles ... hmmm

Any ideas?

Thanks for all your help thus far guys

I bought one from Dick Smith last year. They're generally good with this sort of thing.

I am not sure they still sell it, well it's not listed on their site. The model is XH8284, I have one, they work quite well. Putting that into the search engine now brings up a manual and driver download, not the actal product sad.gif

Keep an eye on TradeMe. One sold there for $5.50 last month here

Good luck

something similar to this is what you would look for. available from most pc suppliers. the only thing to check is whether the connector on the pedals is a male or female serial connector. depending on what the gender is of the plug you may also need a gender changer.

The poor guy just wants to use his rudder pedals, it shouldn't require a sex change! blink.gif

Fortunately I'm checking out the same sort of thing, as I'm looking at grabbing an old joystick with the same Game Port connection. The adapters are a lot more expensive than I would've thought! Is there anywhere cheaper that anyone knows of?

Here's the point I should've pointed out what I do...

I have an old Gameport Sidewinder.

What I have done is brought a soundcard. Most new sound equipment still uses this type of port. A bit of your usual windows configuration and you can use it with your joystick.
