Ok, maybe it's not a plane, but these things sure can fly! Let one (or many) of these FIAT X1/9 Dallara's lose on a New Zealand track and you have some serious problems on your hand, especially if the neighbours don't like lots of noise (Why move next to a race track and not expect it though?) Anyway, here they are.

Driving right on the edge of losing control, accidents happen. In this case, coming up over a small rise, and just a fraction bit more acceleration than needed.

Sorry about the quality, still have to get the settings as I had them a while ago. Looked a lot clearer.

It's Rfactor with the Spirit of 76' mod and Manfield track. The cars and tracks that come with the game its self are really nice, but once you get tired of those, there's a LOT more to be discovered. http://rfactorcentral.com/ is the main place for it all.

And yep, that's the one Ian. Although I sure wouldn't like to be the one to go there and call them boy racers laugh.gif. Nothing boy about them, you need a serious set of balls to go racing there haha.

There's one mod I'm really looking foward to, which I think is supposed to be released sometime this month. Preview videos are the best way to see, I mean just listen to those engines purr..ok..roar rolleyes.gif

http://www.rfactor.net/ is where I got it from, you can try the demo first, and if you like it get an unlock coupon then activate it, as far as I know no more downloading to do (except for addon tracks/cars etc).

Kind of the same story as flight sim though, you can't get the full experience with a keyboard. The plus side with rfactor is, there's no payware addons (well, if there is there isn't many at all) I remember one though, he was charging $10 for a track, then an extra $8 for a night version, and another $8 for 3 different layouts. Didn't go down well at all.

Be great to have a bunch of us racing it though, NZFF.org racing team. Maybe if we get enough a 24 Hour race of LeMans? Ok, maybe not haha. I don't think painting the cars up is that hard either, at least not like FS. As far as I can tell, it's a template, then you can paint what you want. Might have to give it a try myself.

Anyway, I need some sleep biggrin.gif
