I have a fully upgraded PzKpfw Tiger II with the long barreled 105mm KwK 46 L/68, gawd its fun to play, and so are T59, Hummel and Leopard winkyy.gif

That's a MEAN MACHINE!! I want one!! I've only outlayed NZD$10 so I can convert my experience points to use for researching. I'm only in a T2 medium tank. How much did you have to outlay to buy that!!

I'll be online from about 8:30 tonight until the wee hours - username mfrasernz

Is anyone interested in starting an NZFF clan??

Here is a link to Gamestar.de - if you enter your first name, surname and your email address they'll send a promo code that you can enter which gives you a one day premium account subsription and 750 gold!! I did it this morning and have received the code but haven't had time to enter it yet........ also - the website returns an error once you submit your details, but the code still gets emailed thru, so don't get discouraged!!

Its a Freemuim game, free to play and do everything, or you can buy some gold and do more in less time, gold thankfully does not affect your battlefield power or tactics so you cant just buy your way to the top

Purchased 12500 gold for 50 AUS bucks (because I didn't buy BF3...lol) and bought the Chinese T59 and made sure its crew was at 100% training at the time I bought the tank, the rest of the gold I spent on converting xp from the gold-tanks to free experience to level the TigerII

Then I just played the German tank I was in at the time...in a rotation with the T59, play with one, then when you die..jump out of the game and fire up the other one, play that till you die...rinse repeat, convert xp..

I still have 4000 gold left.... been playing for 2 months on and off

Love it, its like chess, sit back, take your time, and humble people when they make a mistake..

Edit: oh btw remember there is an EU and a NA server, we in AUS/NZ get put on the NA server, so anything for the EU server you cannot use (might explain the voucher code issues)

Thanks for the info. The link I posted above does work - I just input the code into my WOT account and have a 24hr premium subscription and 750 in gold!!

[EDIT] - all codes are now taken....... if I find any others I'll post links here

Not sure if this is entirely true? I note in the ammunition section that you need some gold to buy the "better" ammunition for the tank that does more damage than the ammo you can have for standard silver...

A premium account will give you more XP and credits earned so that you can research and afford new tanks faster smile.gif

Hello Dean smile.gif

You can buy gold ammo (if your that way inclined) but I would say only do that if your playing in a clan match and NEED to win, same goes for the little munchy things in the consumables section

Gold ammo kills more and penetrates further hence: do more in less time but I can still kick the hiney of any gold ammo chap providing I choose the right tactics for the situation, that's the beauty of the game, almost everyone has equal chance

Fair call. I play it just for fun. Only up to Level 4 tanks at present but having fun employing good tactics to destroy MUCH larger tanks in the process.

Yeah!

Play all your tanks (I have about 7 or 8 I think) until you get a win each day, you'll rake in the xp

and if you have not done so yet...get the Premium Chinese T59 tank while its half price (if that's what 50% discount means) it makes your grind a lot lot faster and its a hellof a lot of fun to play

Yeah that T-59 is a nice tank, as is the T-50-2 (very fast and agile).
I would avoid the bigger gun on the German Grille artillery - rounds cost 505 silver each and if you dont get any hits/kills and get destroyed, your bank account goes backwards on most rounds sad.gif

Tiger2 with the long gun costs 1250 silver per pop, however you always seem to get a bite icon_twisted.gif

I'm also working up the VK2080 or whatever its called (little fast german tank) its great fun for looping around people and hunting arty

My new toy... the VK2801, made especially for hunting and destroying artillery wub.gif

Technically it could be described as '105mm of derp goodness @ 72 kph', also widely known around the forums as 'The Arty Bane'
