Howdy Christian,

Was wondering if you knew if Curt Jardey's NZLight.zip (67 North and South Island Lighthouses and beacons) conflicted in anyway with NZ Topo? Looks like an interesting add-on.

I have had it installed for a couple of months now and did a tour of all the Lighthouse never noticed a problem with the 75m mesh. Pays to read the instructions for some reasoning behind the postioning of some of the lights ;)

Howdy MagnumForce,

Mesh ain't the problem (well it probably is, but that's not my primary concern at present :) ). As you know, NZTopo alters the default shorelines; and, if the scenery is designed for the default NZ (nowhere in the Readme can I find mention of which setup the scenery is for) then ... :o

Hi Dorian

Well, depends how you define conflict :) You can install it allright, but the lighthouses aren't at the right location, sometimes in the water. Would be great to have that fixed.

At the moment, I'm enjoying FSX too much, and Philip Middlemiss has released a similar lighthouse scenery for FSX with lighthouses at the right locations...

Cheers,
Christian

Howdy Christian,

Ah, okay. For some unknown reason I (mistakenly) assumed NZTopo installed a number of lighthouses and that installing the Curt Jardey scenery might mean double-ups.

Thanks.
