I'm looking at getting the Real Tauranga airport to go with my Rotorua one but it says on the site that the downloaded one doesn't come with night aerial textures.
What is the difference with it and with out it ?

is there another way i can get the night textures

These were left out of the download to keep the file size manageable. The night textures are only available on the CD version.
The actual airport does have night textures -- it's just the aerial imagery which doesn't. The Tauranga aerial imagery is colourised, from original black and white, so the night textures are not a great loss, I think.

How's the FSX version coming along? I'm looking forward to updating my compo entry...

It won't be ready by the end of the month, but I might send you a beta version to test -- remind me later this week.
I'm still a bit stuck on Rotorua, having to relearn effects for FSX.
