I seem to be the only one with this problem so it must be me.
I have just bought FS X and seeing Rob has patched Welly I thought I'd give it a go. I have all the Real NZ sceneries so far, (great job Rob) installed with FS2004 ok, no problems there.
I followed the instructions and copied the wellington folder into my FS X folder. I then ran the executable and started up FS X. I added it to my scenery database and flew to Wellington. After a loooong load time it came up but it appears there are no textures ie. all structures are black. But that's not all; all the photo area was covered in water, hills and everything. I tried removing the Welly texture folder and had exactly the same result! I restored it back and looked for duplicate AF_NZWN files and found another one. After removing the second one (probably from GNZLAP5, another great addition) Wellington finally came up ok. Thinking I had solved it I turned off and came back later. Guess what, the old fault had returned! I have the 20m mesh and topo installed and no other additions.
I'm sure someone may have a clue here. There are so many talented people on this site. A huge resource for which I'm forever grateful. Keep up the good work guys, we all appreciate your time and effort.
Cheers
Paul
