Unfortunately the photoreal doesn't cover the whole Sounds, but a bit more than this...

Dang! That looks sooooooo much better than default landclass (which up till now really impressed me).

I must ask what water textures you are using there that reflect the clouds so well???

Can't recall if you've announced it...which actual airports will this release be covering?
We'd have to make sure there is some traffic there, in advance!

All FS9, X's water is quite different. The X photoreal will also be higher res I believe.

mmmmmm impresive robin, very impresive..

Will there be seperate fs10/9 version or will it be possible to buy just one product and use it with both sims?

What is the perforamce going to be like with this? I remember you once saying about the fps issues with the airfeilds being so close together. Will it be better performing than nztg? (the only real nz I have brought as yet) As I prefer nto to fly to tg anymore due to the perforamce problems...

Anyway looking awsome!

There will be only one 'product', but there will be two versions included. This is necessary to take advantage of the new features of FSX.
Performance will always be a major consideration when I'm designing a scenery. With Tauranga the performance needs to be tuned using the scenery density setting. (Although actually removing the boats has helped with some people.)
Marlborough may be the same -- running it with full display settings may only work well on higher specced machines.
However lowering the settings TO MATCH YOUR SPECIFICATIONS should give good results. This is normal, and the way it's meant to work.
There's a fine line between scenery complexity and system performance. Whenever I add an object to a scenery it will affect performance slightly. However it does add a lot to the 'value' of the scenery. We already have high-performance, low detail scenery, it comes with the sim. I can work towards making the scenery perform well, but a scenery with hundreds of custom objects is never going to perform as well as one with a couple of default objects.
At the moment I'm benchmarking the scenery on my own system. This is three years old, so represents low specifications quite well:
Athlon 2600XP
1GB RAM
Nvidia 5900 128MB video card
Provided your machine can comfortably run the sim normally, you should get usable performance from my addon scenery provided you adjust the display settings accurately.

Thats what I love about your scenery Robin

thanks Robin, although i don't like having to turn all the 3d object sliders to minimal when flying over a area then back on for scenerys witch aren't as detailed. but I suppose it doesn't really matter, once your in the air the photoreal just looks so good anyway with out autogen/scenery complexity.. :D

I will prepare to pull the display sliders back and preorder marlbourgh as soon as I can, or perhaps buy nzwn first :D
