Christchurch scenery

Will you be making scenery for Christchurch? And is there any good scenery for Christchurch out because I am unable to find any anywhere

First Time posting So Welcome to NZFF .... What Flight sim , obviously FSX .. so we have a team working on the surrounds that's freeware and working on the the brilliant photo Doug edited and glazed and blended into the entire area it is getting worked on .. albeit for the ORBX platform , but thinking with a little discussion the same well worked photo off the airport area alone would suit VLC but this is still a work in progress .

Yes, as Ian said he and Doug are keen to get Christchurch done to a high standard. I did say I'd contribute to a freeware project once the current upgrade was finished, but things have changed enough for me to have to rethink this -- mainly my own circumstances, but also the splitting of the NZ simming camp into those with and without FTX NZ.

Ian/Doug's project does seem to be aimed at FTX only, which doesn't suit me at the moment, but I'd still be happy to contribute to some extent.

Well the airport photo would drop in directly into VLC .. what make the photo area blend so well is is the near natural look the ORBX has in regard to shelter belt and texture , airports only change every 50 so years .
