Has anybody tried this? I had a go in getting Tauranga into NZNI but for some reason it kept crashing my FSX. Did see it long enough to see it mostly worked (apart from the crashing). I would be interested whether anybody else has tried this succesfully and also whether anybody has had any luck with NZRO.

What sort of steps do you take to get this working? You want to make sure that nothing is doubled-up, which means that a few files will need to be deactivated, in particular the Airport Facilities files. This isn't simple, as there are a lot of files involved, and some are intertwined. For instance, the airport elevation is controlled by more than one file, in more than one location, and these probably exist for both Real NZ and NZNI.
So you really need to switch off all the NZNI files relating to Tauranga, in the Orbx folders and in Scenery\World\Scenery. My patches normally rename these to .bak.
If it crashes after you've done this, then I don't know what is happening. If it works, then you really need to check that there are not too many elevation issues between the Real NZ airport/flatten and the NZNI elevation mesh.
I have mentioned before that since Vector Land Class, some people might prefer to switch off the larger aerial image for Tauranga, as this is a colourised image, so it isn't really up to standard for FSX these days.

I seemed to have get RealNZ TG working in NI by just changing the NI files NZTG.bgl and objects.bgl to bak.
Its not perfect, but pretty good.

I have random white patches like snowy mountains in summer with NZNI. Just bought the awesome value pack...is the rotorua airport suppose to be complex with buildings or more lower volume but to scale?
