I've yet to work out how these minor fixes will be handled, it may be possible to release some sort of automatic fix, but in the meantime, here's a quick fix for Nelson:
Open ORBX\FTX_NZ\FTX_NZSI_05_SCENERY\scenery in Windows Explorer. Find all the Nelson-specific files by typing NZNS into the search box. This should list 6 files for Nelson. Simply change the file extension to .off to deactivate them.
Once you've done this, do the same with the search word 'nelson', which should give one file. Turn it off.
(There are Nelson textures, but don't worry about those.)
Now browse to FSX\Scenery\World\Scenery
Find the one Nelson file -- ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZNS_elevation_adjustment.bgl
Now this file can't be given the .off extension, as switching Orbx regions will turn it back on. So we need to give it an extension which effectively 'hides' it from the switcher -- I use .bak
If you use Vector Land Class, don't forget to turn the Vector Land Class autogen textures back on after installer NZSI.
There are a couple of minor issues remaining, which will be dealt with later:
- There are duplicate lighthouses, which requires an exclude to fix, and therefore can't be fixed by renaming files.
- The Orbx ships tend to ground on the boulder bank, which shouldn't happen outside Tauranga...
- There are some strange autogen roofs resulting from the NZSI install.
