first thing I have noted since intsalling the Welly scenery is that the default runway for Nelson is partially hidden with the ground texture, has anyone else noticed this?

Also I dont know if this is normal but when I create a flight in New Zealand it seems to default to Mercer (city) with Wiakato(region) why is this and how can I get rid of it as its pretty annoying?

No, it's not normal. However, as the Mercer AFCAD which is installed with the Auckland City scenery has Waikato listed as a Region, the scenery .cfg reads this as a seperate NZ entry, thus defaulting to this location. Clear as mud?

The fix is simple: open both copies of the Mercer AFCAD (found in Scenery/World/Scenery and AddOn Scenery/scenery) with AFCAD, go to the Airfield Properties tab and edit Waikato out of the region box. And don't forget to save your changes. Voila. All fixed.
