Yep, tried everything you suggested in the post and have only 7 NZNS files remaining in that folder

Sorry about this dragging on, normally elevations issues are a bit easier to fix, especially at Nelson as the difference in elevation between default and NZSI is huge, and very noticeable. That's not what I see here. Normally its a matter of me trying various things to reproduce the issue, but that hasn't worked this time.

There are some other files which are involved with the flatten, in RealNZNelson\Scenery, and they probably need to be tidied up as well. There, 'default' elevation files are deactivated with a .off extension, so it is possible that you have some of these active as well.

It would be worth checking to see if there are any other duplicate filenames with a '.bgl' and a '.off' extension. If so, I'll tell you which ones are correct.

I had similar problems when i first had Nelson and NZSI installed. It turned out to be a left over file from Snowmans NZNS scenery.

Looked in the RealNZNelson\Scenery Folder and I have 20 files in there, no direct duplicates but some with fairly similar names.

Just to check, should the NZNS files in the Orbx\FTX_NZ folder still be there? There are 7 of them when I search that folder.

No files are deleted by the Nelson patch, they are just renamed to a .bak extension to disable them, so yes, they should be there, but they shouldn't be bgl files any more.

There is one still showing up as a .bgl. File name is ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZNS_CVX.bgl

That should have a .bak extension.

Is there any way to change this without reinstalling all the affected software? (i.e. FTX NZSI and Nelson?

Sure, you can rename the file yourself. Right-click, 'rename', move the cursor to the end of the filename, delete the bgl extension, type bak.
All done.

Yes just highlight the file and change the the last three letters ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZNS_CVX.bgl to ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZNS_CVX.bak

Bingo! Turns out that the file I was trying to rename was a duplicate in both bgl and bak form again. Got rid of that one and the scenery is working a treat. Thanks very much for all your help!
