Hey Robin,
Thanks for putting Hicks Bay in amongst the Sub series.
Just found it... :)
Used to camp there with Ma & Pa a few , well quite a few years back. Magical place.

Couldn't find the strip tho? Is it a farm strip nearby?

Yes, there are two airstrips in the photo area, FR1 and FR2, neither all that well-defined.
I once headed off to Hicks Bay with my ex-wife, but we didn't quite make it there before a storm hit -- I've been planning to get back there, but it is a long way out of my way...
The random little areas didn't really take off, but I might return to them one day.
