This shows the coverage area of the Alps/Southern Lakes photoscenery as at issue 2 of the subscription. Although looking at it this morning, it does look like Mt Cook is on the edge, which isn't the case, I think the photoscenery actually goes a bit further west than it shows here... The problem is, I worked so hard on the blend to VLC it isn't always obvious where the edge is until you fly up close!
This part of the photoscenery will (probably) get at least 3 times the size by the end of the subscription, as I hope to include the major southern lakes -- Wanaka, Wakatipu, and Te Anau. However it will take a break for at least a month as I concentrate on the next major scenery area -- Hawke's Bay.
I hope to be able to produce at least 3 of these major areas, plus other smaller areas, within the 12 month subscription period.
At the moment it is still possible to arrange Paypal installments, $20 per month for 5 months, so this is a fairly painless way to try the scenery so far, if you arranged installments now you'd have a month to decide whether to continue with the subscription, or cancel and just keep the existing scenery you've already downloaded.
At the end of July the installment plan will change slightly, to $25 per month for 4 months. (Remember that the installments are separate from the subscription period. The sub period is a full 12 months from May 2014 to April 2015. The installments are available only in the first few months.
