I'll try that -- taking off from Tauranga is fine -- Rotorua is also great both in & out --I am sure I had a similarproblem when I changed to Vista --if I remember right it was one tiny file missing --- thanks alot

Well the problem was DX9 again--no probs in DX10 --before my upgrade I was getting a terrible frame rates in DX9 but reasonable in DX 10-- since the upgrade DX 9 may be even better than DX 10---Still I,ll stick with 10 unless I take the ATR or the Mosquito for a spin. Just stay away from Tauranga & don't expect any screen shots.
Incidently do you chaps use the anti - aliasing built into the simulator or set it up in the ATI graphics menu. I have no luck at all using the ATI filtering. I do turn the sim anti-aliasing off when I experiment
Thanks

I'll have another play with it today.
Btw, is there anything on the web to cross-reference nav-aid frequencies?
Every now and again You will find a VOR/DME/NDB/ILS frequency that doesn't correspond to Flight Sim.
In theory it should just be a matter of checking the plates/charts. But this isn't always so.
Try 304Khz
