If you have installed FSX SP2 or Acceleration this update will fix the trees which got a bit broken. Download the Marlborough SP2 tree fix here.

Patches and updates are hard to handle, long-term.
I use FS9 Marlborough for lots of reasons, will maybe one day load up the FSX flavour again.
I go stupid when installing stuff, on purpose actually.
Will there be a one-step path for us stupids to follow, depending on, say, whether you are an FS9 updater with only SP1 installed?
Or SP2 non-update from FS9? Accelerator operator?
You get my drift...a flowchart maybe?

Yes, I'm aware that it is a nuisance for those who have bought Marlborough for FS2004, and will one day move to FSX. However Marlborough is one of the easy ones -- there is no upgrade from FS2004 to FSX, they are two completely different installations, so the same situation applies as for those who have already moved to FSX -- you install the scenery, it either works or it doesn't, depending on whether you have installed SP2. If it doesn't you go looking for a solution. If you then install SP2 and it stops working, then you have to sort that out too. This is a nuisance if it's been a year or two since you bought the scenery.

That's why I don't like to patch scenery. I like to work as hard as I can to get rid of any bugs before release. This patch, however, is a bit different in that the FS 'rules' were changed months after the scenery was released. I purposely waited until FSX was officially declared finished before I patched it, so that there'd be only one patch.

Wellington is the same, but different. There was an upgrade to FSX, which didn't survive SP1. I have waited until SP2 to patch it, because I only want one patch. Messy, yes, but not as messy as it could have been.

I'm thinking of changing my name to 'Patches'. The last 12 months have been very non-productive, some of it was expected due to the release of FSX, some not, due to the service patches. I will be pleased when I can put it all behind me.

I guess it's a reasonable approach: if it don't work, go look for a fix!
As long as the fix works...
One of the kids' Xmas Prezzie PC games does this:
Step 1: Install (Absolutely humungous amount of stuff, takes half an hour or so)
Step 2: Start game
Step 3: Read popup banner that says: to run this game, please install Patch 2.11.3.66.209876545276127652635
Step 4: Download patch (Absolutely Massive)
Step 5: See step 1
Step 6: See step 2
Step 7: See step 3, different patch. But this time, the stopper. To download the patch, you have to be registered for multiplayer.
Wait for it...
Mulitplayer can only be accessed from within the game.

Did you know, discard DVD's are great for hanging up in the carport, so the swallows don't come and poop all over the car?
