Here is a summary of regional Vatsim events:


VATPAC Events is currently trialling a few new event type concepts, on more regular nights and we would be interested to get your feedback.


The Tuesday night isn't changing, with the format of usually a GAAP night for one Tuesday, a "non radar"Â￾ airport, an EOM big city event, and something else for the Tuesdays "“ and that isn't going anytime soon, however we're now trialling a Sunday Afternoon/evening event. The "Lazy Sundays"Â￾ event will feature two Kiwi Events a month, the Aus Tour point-point event and the infamous Military Night on the *first* Sunday of the month.

The purpose to this change, is that rather than these events spread through the whole week, knowing that there will be events on a Sunday Afternoon/evening "“ hopefully should attract lots or people online and this timeslot was highlighted in last years Event Survey. Still expect more Joint Events, VA Nights and random stuff thrown in there every now and then to keep you on your toes.


Around the Rim

We also welcome the "Around the Rim"Â￾ event, a joint VATPAC & Compass / Knight Air event, which follows on from the popular World Safari Tour, and features Team Airbus and Team Boeing fighting it out for a non-existent cash prize of an unredeemable amount of non-exchangeable currency. Sydney is still our focus for this week, however we haven't quite cracked that #1 spot, though we've got close, however a new poll has been created for our next focus point. http://www.vatpac.org/forums/showthread.php?t=7378 We might create a few ad-hoc events to create some interest and crack that #1 spot
