For SNO (Sunday Night Operations) this week, something totally different for VATNZ.

This will be the first VATNZ SNO primarily for Military Operations.

This week we will focus on RNZAF Bases at Woodbourne (Blenheim)/NZWB, Ohakea/NZOH and Whenuapai/NZWP

So, bring out those Military Aircraft, Military Callsigns and remember, no scheduled carriers for NZWP/NZOH!!!!!

This online night will start at NZDT 1900 / AEST 1600 / UTC 0600. Please note the earlier start time for those not in New Zealand as New Zealand moves to Daylight Savings time at 0200 local on Sunday morning.

We would like to kindly request that all pilots and ATC indicate their intentions to fly/control via the vRoute booking system.

Recommended FREEWARE scenery for FS2004

RNZAF Whenuapai
Auckland 2005 includes RNZAF Whenuapai and this FIX FILE for that scenery.

And I also recommend THIS UPDATE for the Real Auckland Airports. Must have the other file or Real NZ - Auckland installed first.

RNZAF Woodbourne
Recommended Woodbourne Airport. I would recommend Real NZ Woodbourne if you prefer Payware and a higher quality product.

RNZAF Ohakea
Scenery that was designed for FS2000 but still adds the buildings and some military aircraft to the default FS2004 scenery and seems to work ok.
Ohakea Scenery

Use at your own risk and always backup your system before using any new scenery.

Charts

Charts as always at http://www.aip.net.nz/NavWalk.aspx?section=CHARTS

Unfortunately with the change to Daylight Savings I'll be working until 2100 NZDT so it will probably all be over by the time I get home from work sad.gif angry.gif
