FS2002 won't connect via IP address. why is this.
I type up the correct Ip address and click search but it doesn't show up with anything. I've tried it with FSHost and Inspire.net

well it sounds like fs is blocked by a firewall/software to the net or you have put the ip in wrong inspire is 203.114.130.15/then search /then connect ..if it not finding the ip .then the programs "fs2002" arent connecting to the net "maybe" the inspire server says it connects 2002
http://203.114.130.15:81/ HERE!!!cant really help much more than that sorry as im not going to reinstall 2002 to find out it works ok my end ..
good luck ..i know i can talk with me not moving onto fsx but you should maybe think of moving on from 2002 to 2004 ,it will be a bargin these days

Do I have to to port forwarding?
I have a Dynalink RTA1320 broadband modem and a D-Link Dl-524 router if applicable.

I've worked out that the Dynalink is the problem. On the port forwarding website it says the Dynalink can't forward enough ports for FS2002 and says I should use DMZ if possible or bridge the router. How do I do either of these?

Don't know how to fix the port fowarding problem sorry.
At the multiplayer screen in FS2002, when you enter the IP address do you put the port on the end, this may make a difference.
As creator2003 said, the address is 203.114.130.15, but maybe you should include the port, so 203.114.130.15:81
