FSX Vatsim???

I've heard that you can use vatsim on FSX.
But how is that possible when you cant connect to the interent in FSX when your in free flight the only way to connect is to go on multiplayer.
i tried using FSinn the new version for FSX but had know idea how to use it or connect to the server.
Can anyone help me?

Well I just installed IVAP for FSX, it works well. Just like SB and IVAP in FS( it automaticly conects, infact in FSX the way the multiplayer works with IVAP is really nice, theres no "XXX has joined the session" and stuff, It doesn't actuly conect as if you were in a normal defualt session as you can still have the defualt atc window open (not that you would want to) and thankfully you can puase change aircraft time of day and everything, unlike in a defualt fsx multiplayer session.

mm but for vatsim, aren't they still waiting for a new SB?
