VFR Queenstown to Dunedin - Sunday 6 July 2025 at 7.30pm

Come sim-flying with us on the evening of 6 July 2025 (Sunday) taking off at 7.30pm (NZDT).

This is leg 19 of our tour of New Zealand.

Departing Queenstown Airport (NZQN), we fly eastwards to :

Cromwell Racecourse Aerodrome (NZCS)
Alexandra (NZLX)
Roxburgh Aerodrome (NZRX)
Glenshe Airstrip (NZOR)
Taieri (NZTI)

And then on to our destination of Dunedin (NZDN).

Flying will be in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
Server is South East Asia.
Time set is 1200 hours (1200 NZT).
Weather is optional.
The default plane is anything capable of cruise speed of 115-130 knots - Cessna 152 or 172, DA40, X Cub, Robin, etc
Flight takes around 90 minutes.
Note: Full stop landings at most sites.

Using Discord 'NZ Flight Sim' Server for voice traffic. Please try and have voice available. It makes its easier for everyone to know what's going on.

Photo 3 - something happened to my sim after Roxburgh, I spent the rest of the trip flying at this angle. Turned weather off - still the same problem. Landed in a field to retry and fix, but still the same problem.

Sorry to hold you guys up with my connection woes. Really weird. Everything that I have read or watched indicates that I am setting it up correctly.
Great fun otherwise.

Worked out why my plane was on a lean. The rudder was stuck hard left. You can see it in some of my screenshots. Happened again today, but in MSFS 2024.
