VFR flying from Gisborne to Palmerston North - Sunday 9 June 2024 - 7.30pm
Posted: Tue Jun 04, 2024 9:03 amOur informal group is doing another VFR flight on the evening of 9 June (Sunday) taking off at 7.30pm (NZDT). Anyone is welcome to join us.
Departing from where we left off last flight - Gisborne (NZGS), we're flying to Palmerston North (NZPM).
We'll follow a south westerly track performing 'touch and goes' at the following locations :
Wairoa (NZWO)
Napier (NZNR)
Hastings (NZHS)
Waipukurau (NZYP)
Dannevirke (NZDV)
before arriving at our final destination at Palmerston North (NZPM).
This should take about 1.5 hours.
The default plane is 2 engine - Baron, Diamond, etc.
Flying will be in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
Server is South East Asia.
Time set is 1200 hours (noon NZT).
Weather is optional.
Using Discord 'Long White Cloud' Server for voice traffic. Please try and have voice available. It makes its easier for everyone to know what's going on.
