Generally all of my flights are on IVAO, but occasionally I do a few [short] offline flights if I'm trying out a new aircraft, or scenery.

Haven't got into network multiplayer, I find the FSX setup a lot of fun.

Each to their own, but AI planes and synhesized ATC just don't do it for me. I have tried a few offline trips lately but have quit out before they finished. Even if there are few others online it's cool knowing any other planes I do see have real people behind the controls.

I do most of my online stuff on VATSIM and IVAO, I find them easier to get going in (compared to FSX MP that is, FS9 is easy as). Also FSX multiplayer likes to screw up half-way through a session (though the Trans-tasman endurance flight was awesome)

About 90% of my flying is offline, but when I do online it is default fs9 multiplayer with FSHost

but AI planes and synhesized ATC just don't do it for me.

Ooh! Charl won't like you for saying that! :o Especially after all the work he has put into the GNZLAP, now with the new realistic NZ EditVoicePack AI callsigns.

I'm new to all this multiplayer mumbo-jumbo. But I guess I'll be trying out FSX multiplayer first.

ergo 100% of my flying is offline at the moment :D

Inspire for me.
At this stage I prefer a more casual fly around with other simmers rather than a formal format. Each to their own of course.
I use FS9 but from what I've heard about FSX the shared cockpit feature sounds cool.
Testers are born to fiddle. What does this button do? Oh! Never mind.....

Start fs, select aircraft, fuel and weights, location. Once loaded click to start IVAP, file simple flightplan, and fly :plane: Even fly with atc, weather is all loaded for you, metars avalible with a few clicks not having to leave fs, so simple, and conection problems are very very rare.

IVAO for me :) just love it :P

98% for me is offline, but i hardly play fs anyway.. yes i know.. my framerates aren't good enough for me to play it (or try to) without damaging something or someone in anger.. if ayones got a really awesome computer that they want to trade for a crapper, call me :D

What is this IVAO? is it like that stupid VATSIM thing where you have to file a flightplan and talk to real people that think they're real ATC controllers and they think they're so damn cool  etc? or can you just fly hands on vfr with no ATC? formation flying with 3 73/74/75/76/777's, or doing a couple of circuits and showing off my landing skills in a 1900 (who files a flighplan for that?????) appeals to me more than flying from one place to another with like three other planes in NZ, instead of using AI offline and having a realistic amount of traffic and a much more realistic experience.

Did i make sense? :P :D

Lol, we wouldn't stop you, no difference to the tag on the screen. You can fly the whole flight inverted if you want to...

...have fun taxiing... :P
