We're starting off from where we left off last time, Taupo (NZAP)

Something different this time, no flight plan, just pure, pure VFR (so choose nice weather) with no landings in between.

We're going to follow the Waikato River downstream from the Taupo Control Gates to the river mouth at Port Waikato, before landing at Ardmore (NZAR).

This will be a real visual feast which will include:
- Ohaaki and Huntly Power Stations
- Hydroelectric Dams - Aratiatia, Ohakuri, Atiamuri, Whakamaru, Maraetai 1 and 2, Waipapa, Arapuni and Karapiro
- Hobbiton (a slight excursion to get there)
- Hampton Downs Motorsport Park
- Meremere Dragway
- Pukekohe Race Track

Flying will be in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
Server is South East Asia.
Time set is 1200 hours (noon NZT).
Weather is clear or few clouds.
Flight time is about 1.5 hours.
Aircraft is the Diamond DA40.

Using Discord 'Long White Cloud' Server for voice traffic. Please try and have voice available. It makes its easier for everyone to know what's going on.

Nice one guys, looks like a fun route.
Be honest now tho, the diversion to Hobbiton was really to avoid flying over Hamilton wasn't it?!?!?!?

Actually we flew straight back to Lake Karapiro, and continued onto Cambridge and Hamilton. Got to keep the natives happy.

Jeff used to live there, and managed to fly over his old house.
