Group VFR flying from Mount Cook To Omarama - Sunday 19 March 2023
Posted: Tue Mar 14, 2023 6:27 pmHere's an invitation to join our informal group VFR flight on the evening of 19 March 2023 (Sunday) starting at 7.30pm (NZDT).
We're starting off where we left off last week, at Mount Cook (NZMC)
Heading west to Haast, then south to Martins Bay (NZMJ) - one of the special sites in the NZ World Update.
Then further south to Milford Sound (NZMF) - another special site in the NZ World Update.
Then some serious climbing over the Alps to Wanaka (NZWF).
Eventually landing at Omarama (NZOA).
This will set us up nicely for the next event, which will be gliding/soaring at Omarama.
Flying will be in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
Server is South East Asia.
Time set is 1200 hours (noon NZT).
Weather is optional.
Aircraft is the Bonanza.

Using Discord 'Long White Cloud' Server for voice traffic. Please try and have voice available. It makes its easier for everyone to know what's going on.
