Here's an invitation to join our informal group VFR flight on the evening of 7 August 2022 (Sunday) taking off at 7.30pm (NZDT).

Departing from Balclutha (NZBA), and following the Clutha River upstream to its source at Lake Wanaka, and landing at Wanaka (NZWF).
Then for the final leg, a hop over to land at Queenstown Airport (NZQN).

This trip which will take just over an hour, with touch and goes at Roxburgh (NZRX), Alexandra (NZLX), and Cromwell (NZCW). passing over a few hydro-electric dams along the way.

Plane of choice this time is the Beechcraft Bonanza (BE36).
As an added challenge, maximum altitude is 2500 feet. The real challenge is how to make it from Wanaka to Queenstown, while still staying under 2500 feet.

Flying will be in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
Server is South East Asia.
Time set is 1200 hours (noon NZT).
Weather is optional.
Add-on scenery of your choice.

Using Discord 'Long White Cloud' Server for voice traffic. Please try and have voice available. It makes its easier for everyone to know what's going on.

See you there, Dave (ZKDWF)

Don't know how I missed this post, didn't come up in my 'New Posts' feed, otherwise would have been there.
