Here's an idea rather that just Cursing down the country for an hour or so, can we stop via Ohakea (Ohakea becuase it can handel the 747 ) would make for more Take-offs and landings.

O and YAY Auckland, for once I may hear on Flight Sim ATC something like "Qantas 44 winds 240 at 9 airborne control 1243 cleared for take off runway 23 left "

Also we pilots could use " Qantas 44 passing 1700 feet for 5000 tracking west point 5 "

ATC could use " Qantas 44 cancel the SID turn left heading 185 track direct New Plymouth"

Sorry that was my ATC outburst for th day ;)

Great to see you so positive Jimmy, might pay to type your intended flight plan in the chat box on the day  . I'll be using Standard instrument departures (SID's) as per usual.

For those new comers out there, rest assured you are 110% welcome.........regardless of what level you are at, with this in mind visual departures and approaches will be open despite the fogged in weather. :)

Feel free to PM me if you have any concerns or questions about the NZFF server.

:)

Nice Idea Scott........but not this week, We'll run a military type server at some point and run legs to and from the military bases. :)

Anyone want to do a shared cockpit with me? Would do the atc handling etc. as i don't have a mic, and would only be my second time online. But i would still like to fly an approach.

I noticed one big thing about Zoltuger's Suggested rapaints.(Oh how self centered, Why not any of others repaints)(sarcasim) Anyway they are all stunning, it is so much better to fly a real airline than "Orbit 562":)

Mind you if I was flying, I'd probably fly one of Jon's NAC 737 skins: http://www.flightsim.co.nz/

Yep you need to have them to see them

hence why we only use default aircraft as well

the program tries to match your aircraft to one that the user has. if everyone had the 777 it wouldn't be an issue- but i don't have the model so i'd probably see a learjet or a 737 (i.e. a twin engine jet to replace your twin engine jet)

Yeah feel sorry for ya Jon.....next week it must be your NOTAM

Just a quick note for pilots sorting their flight plans.

A path out of NZCH that may work well is

V175 -> OR (Ohura VOR/DME) -> Then take H277

There are many others also.......but it may take me awhile to look them up  . I'll be handing aircraft off to Tim (NZAA) as they pass Nelson,Woodbourne or Wellington.
