just starting on the flight plan for this re-creation. Non N.Z. Flight.
Anyone that dosen't know about this flight do a search for Operation Tidal Wave.
177 B-24's took off, 162 over the target. Lost 53 planes and 660 air crewmen dead by the end.
The final part of this run was flown at tree top level to avoid radar contact, would have loved to see that!!!!
But setting up flightplan, to run next Friday night 22/3/13
6pm Brissy time, 9pm New Zealand time.
We run for about two hours give or take.
If you would like to be part of this please let me know.
Due to time we might only plan the part over land, to the target.
And flying B-24's or VERY close to it!!!
