Even though I spent some time with the British Army on the Rhine in Her Majesties Armed Services, I could NEVER get my head around the 24-Hour Clock system.
Each day for me is separated by AM and PM. That I can understand. The other method involves counting on my fingers, and muttering to my self, whilst converting the 24-hour time into something quite simple for normal Human Beings to understand!
I mostly get it wrong, as I watch the last train leave the Railway Station whilst I am in the middle of the calculation...

I fondly remember the lovely old round clock in Paddington Railway Station, long, long ago, with its beautiful Roman numerals and hands, and it being replaced by a horrendous 24-hour Digital Clock which confused everyone, especially me, and always resulted in me missing my trains by getting the 12-hour, AM/PM conversion wrong!
In all our Multiplayer Sessions, we always use AM and PM to broadcast the times of the Sessions...Its what it indicates on our Living-room clocks on our walls behind us!
We convert the 24-hour Time Zones into AM and PM....The clock on my Windows Computer and various Forums, always shows AM and PM as the time!
17:37 Hours GMT might just as well be Egyptian Hieroglyphics when it comes to knowing the time!
24-hour clocks are designed to drive us all mad...trust me!
Paul...with a trusty Sundial in the back garden...(on sunny days)....

Tip: I have "Fox Clocks" installed at the bottom of my Firefox Browser, to indicate the AM/PM times in selected Time Zones around the World. Useful for Multiplayer Sessions!...>>>
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefo ... foxclocks/"New Zealand Time Zone" is always confusing for me (GMT)....You are always; "sometime tomorrow!"....
