Now do I need to file a report or anything to say how long I've been on etc?

Nope, it will automatically update on your IVAO profile, and that will show how long you have been online.
It updates at midnight (NZ Time).

Don't do it just to be kind to me but, if anyone wants to do some online flying around Wellington I'll go on as NZWN_TWR at around 5:30 (may go on a bit earlier)
I'd really like it if some people want to do some jet flying

If you want I may be able to get on for 10 - 15 mins at 8:00
So if you want you could do an IFR take-off or a circuit or a landing etc.

Quick Question, with IVAO do you have to do any training before you can control at a Tower/Ground/Delivery position or can you jump straight on as soon as youve signed up?

No training required, just hop straight on.
It may be good to read the manual and/or this at some point though winkyy.gif

Sorry about not being able to make it Kelburn. Since Sunday I have been in bed for the most consequtive days ever (I usualy get over things within the day or two)..

I was hopeing to be able to take you right threw initial setup such as ATIS, checking flightplans, clearances and everything accosiated with that, IFR departures and arivals and then VFR local and departing and ariving traffic.... If your still interested I might be a bit healthier tomrow night and we can do something.

Great to see your enjoying it!

Quick Question, with IVAO do you have to do any training before you can control at a Tower/Ground/Delivery position or can you jump straight on as soon as youve signed up?

Training is of course recommended, personaly I think getting on there at your local tower for a couple of hours with some more experianced members helping out if you need it is far more benificial than 50 hours of observing, and yeah the I pack is recomended reading, I think youl be fine thow Leon, welcome to the forums mate. winkyy.gif And of course the APP, CTR and FSS positions all have varios "Facility Rateing Requirments", so you wont be making your oceanic position reports to a "newbie"...
