Try removing it via Add/Remove programs in Control Panel then reinstall it.

It doesn't need to be in any particular place, it should find FS itself.

Take a look here for assistance too.

Weird. Do you have FSX or FS9? It's designed for FS9, and shouldn't say FSX at all. The set up is 22 odd megs from here. Maybe re-download the set up file?

OK. It's obviously finding the wrong directory, have you got FSX installed mate?

Do you have FS9 (MSFS 2004) installed also?

I think we have found your problem.

MSFS2004 is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Also known as FS9 (the version before FSX - X is the roman numeral for ten).

Squawkbox does not work with FSX, yet. That's why it won't work for you. I did ask what version you had earlier but perhaps I wasn't clear on things

Either wait till Squawkbox is developed for SX or use FSInn, which works with FSX in a limited manner.

Sorry about that mate.

I'm confused now. You have FS2004, but not FSX - or both?

If you have both it would be advisable to wait till SB4 is released for FSX, or use FSInn. I'm unsure why it wouldn't find FS9 during the install.

Check the Squawkbox help forums maybe, I've run out of ideas!
