Downloaded, installed and running. Great work Mike, great detail and quality. In fact a 'Work of Art', congratulations and well done. You should go out and celebrate after this effort.

Took the Islander for a test flight overhead and snapped a couple with the Instamatic!

Ruddy good work Mike, have just purchased, installed and did my usual test of buzzing about with the default MS powered hang-glider thingy and the Orbx-Bob. The place looks amazing!!! Another major piece of the country ticked off as far as airports go

It's a good-looking scenery and I wondered what would be involved in producing an FS9 version?
According to the likes of Aerosoft, FS9 takes 30% of scenery sales.
FlyTampa also produces FSX and FS9 versions, such as their excellent recent LGAV.

And at US$10, I'm sure there is a market for the FS9'ers...

Ty guys ,yes in a perfect world i would have done a fs9 version, though the extra work load and the added detail i would have to delete to grab that 30 % just was not in my best interest nor the user for FS9 ,i think ive forgotten a lot of fs9 exporting models etc and look back at the time as very restricting for me in design terms , FSX will be taking a back seat like Fs9 has i expect when flight comes out ,and i guess we all will be making some decisions again which to platform to support ,im kinda not looking forward to that day when i have to learn the new SDK for flight .
thanks again guys for the support,on to the next area" tick " winkyy.gif

Bought both HamiltonX and TaupoX this morning biggrin.gif

Can't wait until I've built my beast rig and can run FSX how it deserves to be run.

Thank you, yes you will be over the moon when the new rig is built, i try to do my best to keep the flps low but that really does depend on the users PC in the end ,its well worth the upgrade but even my 6core 8gig ram struggles to display other scenerys out there and i end up lowering settings like water autogen /shadows off and other performance addons like clouds and traffic addons to override FSX default which brings my Pc back into line and able to handle things ok .
