BAC One Eleven NZAA to NFFN

A forum to share your FS video clips and movies

Postby cowpatz » Thu Jun 19, 2008 12:04 pm

My first feeble attempt at putting something together with Fraps and Movie Maker. After wasting heaps of time I now have a new found respect for some of the vids you guys are turning out. Gotta start somewhere I suppose smile.gif
I did try to upload to Sim Tube but I cannot get a user confirmation email from them and their help/contact link does not work (helpful) so had to upload to You Tube. Anyone else have this issue with Sim Tube?

Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Haha it's why I stopped competing, some of the FS stuff out there is simply mind-blowing, and I know I'd never get there.
So I just stick to small clips that allow you to show stuff you couldn't show in a screenshot.
Still if the creative juices flow, it allows you plenty of headroom to spread your wings, as it were.

SimTube was such a promising looking venture that repeatedly shot itself in the foot - I don't waste my time with it any longer, other than to delete the spam I get from registering with them.

Great compilation mate, loved the head on landing shot at 4.50.
What camera program were you using to achieve those angles? You seemed to make the ole 111 look stunning from every direction winkyy.gif

Thanks. I use a program called FSsmartview and it resides in the modules folder. The mouse can be used to position eyepoints and the wheel for zoom in and out. Very simple.
The model is superb in all respects. It flys beautifully and the icons for 2D and VC are amazing with simple clicks for view points in the VC mode. Very easy to use with almost full panel functionality - including APU and eng starting. Engines needed to be treated with respect or they WILL stop. I have equipped mine with TCAS and CIVA 1.5 INS. Just great and is one of my favourites.
