Jon when was that taken? paint looks a little different
Boy those engines have a characteristic buzz saw rasp as they go by, don't they?
Can't recall are they RR? I was hoping to see the insignia as you zoomed in

Neat videos, it was cool how you got the close up angle of the nose there as it taxied past your fence!

The ending music (whale rider soundtrack?) as the 'great waka of the sky' departed into the sun made for a very atmopsheric moment- good producing skills mate ;)

BTW, what's with the RNZAF aircraft rego's being NZ**** rather than ZK-*** ? Is that the same with every country's military?

In the spirit of real aviation videos (with bad music :P ), I have put a combo of videos of me flying ZK-EBE around Auckland on youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGlhOFaF3k4

Note- the horrible soundtrack sang by Madonna was only added to show what was 'topping the charts' during the time that that video was recorded (Dec. 2005)- I really dislike that sort of muisc these days...

Nice video there Trolly, well done! Ahh yes, Madonna, the queen of, hmm, whatever shes the queen of, drama perhaps?

Yes it was Whale rider, the number of times the 757 crew had to taxi and take-off to get that shot (oh how I wish), I tell ya, it's hard to get good help these days :P

Yep its the same pretty much every where. The RNZAF 757's are 'NZ7571' and 'NZ7572'. The Orions are NZ4201 through NZ4206.

To be honest I dunno why New Zealand has 'ZK-' why not 'NZ-'. Then again Oz is 'VH', South Africa is 'ZS'.

Yeah, they're registered as KAG said above. During IFR flight though, they use KIWxx as their callsign, e.g. Kiwi 22
